What TeleMedia TV Is

TeleMedia TV is an unofficial media player that uses the Telegram API. It lets you browse and play media that is already available in your own Telegram account on your TV or large-screen device.

TeleMedia TV is not affiliated with Telegram. The app does not host, provide, recommend, or distribute content.

Our Data Approach

TeleMedia TV does not create a separate TeleMedia account, operate its own analytics or advertising-profile servers, or sell your personal data. Your Telegram media stays with Telegram and/or on your device. We do not upload your Telegram media to our own servers and do not use your Telegram content for AI training or advertising profiles.

The app does, however, communicate with third-party services that are necessary for its features. Depending on the version of the app and the features you use, those services may process information under their own privacy policies, as explained below.

Information Handled Locally by the App

The app may store or handle the following on your device so the app can work:

• Telegram session files managed by TDLib.
• Media cache for videos, audio, and files you choose to play.
• Playback progress and resume positions.
• App settings, privacy choices, and local entitlement state.
• Basic diagnostics needed to troubleshoot playback or login issues.

This information is stored locally on your device unless it is handled by Telegram, Amazon, Google, or an enabled ad provider as part of their own services.

Third-Party Services

TeleMedia TV may interact with the following services when needed:

• Telegram API / TDLib: used for Telegram login, session handling, chats, media metadata, and file access. Telegram processes this information according to its Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: used in the Google Play version for purchases, purchase restoration, and entitlement checks. Google may provide the app with purchase status and transaction identifiers, but we do not receive your full payment-card or bank details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Appstore and Amazon In-App Purchasing: used in the Fire TV version for purchases and entitlement checks. See the Amazon Privacy Notice.
• GitHub Pages: hosts this static policy/support website.

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies.

Rewarded Advertising

The Google Play version may offer optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address, advertising or device identifiers, device and app information, approximate location derived from signals such as your IP address, diagnostic information, consent choices, and interactions with ads. This information may be used to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where you have consented, personalize advertising.

In regions where consent or privacy choices are required, the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used to request and store those choices before eligible advertising requests are made. You can review or change your available choices inside TeleMedia TV under Settings > Privacy options. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal, and you may still receive non-personalized or limited ads where available.

The Fire TV version may offer optional rewarded ads through Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle). Its data processing is described in the Liftoff Privacy Policy.

Local Storage and Cache

TeleMedia TV may cache selected media locally to make playback possible on TV devices. You can clear the media cache inside the app. Clearing local media cache does not delete your Telegram account or Telegram-hosted messages/media.

Support Emails

If you contact support by email, your email address and the information you choose to include will be received in our support mailbox. Do not send Telegram login codes, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive credentials.

Account and Data Deletion

You can sign out inside the app and clear media cache from Settings. TeleMedia TV cannot delete Telegram-hosted account data, messages, or media from Telegram servers. Telegram account deletion must be handled through Telegram directly.
